Go for the Gold

Although I may have a silver streak running through my hair, I am a huge fan of all things gold. I am completely smitten with these gorgeous pieces from Julie Vos, and can promise you for as much as these pieces make a statement, they are as versatile as they come!

As we officially start a new season today, I am feeling now more than ever: go gold, or go home!

Make sure to follow all things Julie Vos on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram.

Wear It Wednesday: The Natasha Necklace

In my wardrobe, statement jewelry is a necessity. When I find a designer who designs pieces that embrace that idea, coupled with a classy, luxe aesthetic, consider me hooked!

Cue: my sincere love for all things Julie Vos.

For me, Julie Vos is that "must have one of everything" collection. I'm not kidding ... there is not a piece I do not love! So you can imagine my over-the-moon excitement when this gorgeous, coral + gold statement necklace, known as Natasha, came to live with me.

Here's what I love: for such a substantive piece, this necklace feels solid, but does not wear or feel heavy - and the detailing + bold color make it a perfect day-to-night necklace. Win, win!

White Light

In order to really accentuate this divine vintage blouse, stylist Amy had me trade in my standard dark wash denim for these fabulous white skinny jeans from C. Wonder. And just like the magic of color against a blank canvas, everything immediately came to life:

Pleats, Prints & Colors ... Oh, My!

Remember the days of dress up? You know, the time in your life when you could spend half a day playing in Mom's closet? That's how I feel with stylist Amy living in my neighborhood. When she called me and said, "Friend, just wait until you see the dress I scored this week!" I knew it would be flawless ... but then to have pleats, floral prints, and bold colors? Yes, please! Not to mention this meant my (divine) Coach Legacy oversized clutch had to come out and play as well:

Summer Lovin'

Although I am already dreaming about my wardrobe for fall, with the heat & humidity back in New York City today, I'm doubly grateful for this vintage Jenni sundress! Bright, bold, and cool, this dress is definitely today's winner. I equally love how stylist Amy layered on the arm candy!

Hot Child in the City

There's this deal my stylist & I have: if it's bold, outlandish & over-the-top ... then it's just my style. Back again at Vice Versa, that certain stylist says, "J-New, I'm feeling like there's going to be a jumpsuit in here for you somehow!" So, see, you can now fully appreciate why we jumped up & down when I spied this:
