Print Aid NYC

{ images }

I discovered Print Aid NYC yesterday afternoon, and am so grateful to have happened upon this artists' collective for a dear cause: Hurricane Sandy recovery.

Artists were asked to respond to the theme: light, and each piece is sold in limited editions of 50, with 100% of the proceeds given to the Mayor's Fund for Hurricane Relief here in New York.

Creative genius for the greater good ... truly the definition of art in my opinion.

Stay informed: make sure to view all of the available prints, and follow Print Aid NYC on Twitter and Facebook.

White Light

In order to really accentuate this divine vintage blouse, stylist Amy had me trade in my standard dark wash denim for these fabulous white skinny jeans from C. Wonder. And just like the magic of color against a blank canvas, everything immediately came to life:

A Little Escape

As stylist Amy & I continue to celebrate prints this week (and always), I find this tailored, vintage-take on a gypsy skirt positively refreshing:

Pleats, Prints & Colors ... Oh, My!

Remember the days of dress up? You know, the time in your life when you could spend half a day playing in Mom's closet? That's how I feel with stylist Amy living in my neighborhood. When she called me and said, "Friend, just wait until you see the dress I scored this week!" I knew it would be flawless ... but then to have pleats, floral prints, and bold colors? Yes, please! Not to mention this meant my (divine) Coach Legacy oversized clutch had to come out and play as well:
